And here is number three in the 100 Theme Challenge. This theme was "light" and I struggled quite a bit with this one.
'Light' seems like such a simple theme really, but for me it wasn't. I went through at least ten different ideas before coming to this one. I noticed quite a few people tend to combine theme 3 and 4 (Light and Dark) together into one deviation. I honestly find that kind of cheating, so I worked to try to keep them in two separate deviations.
This is my first attempt with a pose quite like this, and I didn't use any stock images to make it. I am quite pleased with this, even if there are quite a few aspects of the picture that could be made better.
I do like the design of the subject in this picture. Though while I was drawing it I wasn't intending a specific gender for him/her. I think he's a male, but that could just be me. To others he might look like a girl. I don't care either way since I wasn't trying to make him look male or female. I just drew.
Not much to say here now. I think I did a decent job with this theme, even if it did give me quite a few problems in the planning stage.

The ears seem to fit in more naturally than the tail, but I like it. It's an interesting way to do a light theme, a lot more original than some other people would probably do. The pose turned out alright. Yeah, it looks like a boy to me too ^.^
It does seem masculine to me, though I can see how it could be interpreted either way. The glow effect on this is really nice, and fits the theme perfectly. I look forward to seeing Dark!
I am glad I managed to succeed on the glow for this. It helps make it suitable for this theme. Hopefully Dark will be coming soon.

Yeah, I agree with the tail and ears. But I wasn't too insanely worried with the tail. I was afraid the ears would come out looking silly.

Beautiful job! The glow effect is excellent and does a good job with the theme. The pose turned out rather nicely. To me, it looks more like a boy, but I can see how others could see it as feminine. I can't wait to see the next one!

I really like this picture. And I like the character too. I might keep him to use as a role-play character down the road.
